● Worked as a senior analyst in the electronic trading business for Americas equities business activity. Work involved analyzing electronic trading flow and designing mitigating solutions for the risks identified. Electronic trading flow included various execution algorithms, order management systems, dark pool venues, viking, exchange circuit breaker. The work involved dealing with multiple stakeholders, understanding regulatory risk and designing algorithmic mitigating solutions and working with the tech team for implementation of the solutions. Few features I worked on designing included Market Impact Control, Market data sanity check, Client risk limits, credit risk limits, drop copy reconciliation, Fat finger limit check, Order Size, Order Price Control. Lead a team of 8 members for performing risk assessment for the Index financing business. Microsoft, Applied Data Scientist (June 2016 - August 2017)

● Personalized Reactive Answers on Cortana and Bing.com: Personalization of Bing results on Cortana and Bing.com. This included search results of sports, flights, finance, restaurants, etc. based on the user’s search history.

● Cortana Bot for Skype: Worked on a chatbot that can be linked with third-party applications like Skype, Facebook messenger. This interacted with users in a personalized fashion, giving answers as per their choices and preferences.

● Portable Cortana: Integrated Cortana with smart devices like TV, refrigerators, ACs where Cortana could intelligently assist users.

Amazon Development Center, Software Developer (June 2015 – June 2016)

● Worked on an onboarding and account management platform for third party stores that could perform last-mile delivery on behalf of Amazon. This included architectural designing as well as implementation. The features were related to secure document upload and payments involving encryption algorithms.

● Worked on Amazon dynamoDB, a NoSQL database for maintaining store’s metadata. Store geolocating service and automatic shipment service were built by using complex algorithms for dealing with storage capacity to minimize the transportation cost.

● Sarcasm Detection: Crawled the training data from Twitter. Used unigrams and bigrams as the feature dictionary. Used sentiment analysis to draw out extreme sentiments or contrasting sentiments to detect sarcasm. Used Python libraries like Gensim, TextBlob, Ski-kit learn for topic extraction, sentiment analysis using Naive Bayes’ Classifier.

● Medical Drug Feasibility: Implemented an algorithm to process various layers of infected tissue to measure the feasibility of a drug in containing bacteria.
