Work Experience

Mod Captain.

Variety Warehouse - Newnan, GA

March 2022 to Present

• Take inventory and update in computer on the given Mod and maintain a safe clean work environment.

- Mods are areas where product is placed into slots upstairs or downstairs and from individuals on lifts. Also pickers come in and pick from the inventory so it’s constantly changing. Must keep up with these changes as much as possible and clean up after pickers if they do not themselves. 1. Manually pick up left pallets and stack, later someone or I remove with lifts to designated area. 2. Remove all inventory that is extra or no longer stocked or has been put, left, or dropped. 3. Restack or down stack freight to make easier on pickers, remove plastic wrap. 4. When required, pick freight from Mods and place on conveyor belts. Temp Service / Warehouse Associate

ProLogistix - Newnan, GA

October 2021 to February 2022

• Temp service that hired me out to Variety Warehouse, where I am currently working full-time.

• Separate received products and break them down into different stores or waves by the tickets.

• Manual labor to separate various products onto different pallets depending the need.

• Use of a scanner gun on catalyst network to scan in the tickets we were given. I worked doing this and cleaning out Mods or aisles during downtimes. Before taking a full time position I got certified on the cherry picker and reach. At the ending of the 2021 year I was put on Inventory with other co-workers. And then… hired on as a Mod Captain. Picker

Amazon - Newnan, GA

May 2021 to October 2021

• Straight picker at Amazon. Which was up to 4 floors and using the catalyst system to receive orders to pick.

Was required to have a APP on phone to request days off and a limited amount of time given. So a computer system would keep up with any time off and accounted for. Also the scanners would have a timer on it allowing you to see when you started having any gap time. This meant individuals keeping up with their own work and being accountable for themselves. Secretary / Apprentice

Gary’s Auto & Marine Interiors - Dallas, GA

June 2017 to December 2018

• Was a private owned business so I worked for one individual.

• Handled calls and orders directly with customers and my employer. Required keeping a schedule for both to get the job done and order supplies with pick up by me or my employer.

• Keep the office and shop clean and tools put up properly in there locations. I moved myself up to apprentice after I finished my hired on job responsibilities. I was then learning how to dismantle vehicles, prep them for easier work on my employer. I learned how to take out and redo headliners on my own. Also some on the upholstery of seats, cutting the fabric for employer and then after helping put back on covers, then putting back into vehicles. I really liked this job but I needed more pay and benefits. TW Distribution - Lithia Springs, GA

Ups / Picker

1-2019 to 3-2021

• I was hired straight in because I went full time to Ups. The job had one small section for outgoing Ups for parts under 150 lbs. There was only me and I had one driver to get the parts.

• Would get morning print out of tickets and hourly after to keep up with, sent straight to my station.

• Divide tickets according to the parts of the warehouse and distribute to the driver to pick parts to drop back off to me.

• Collect boxes from the warehouse to reuse and package parts to be sent out. Lots of use of tape gun.

• Use of a computer and printers for UPS labels and packing slips. Also kept up with emails from order takers around the U.S., process all shipments and adjust or change in the system. Some orders would be next day air or 3 day select, or anything UPS can do, so keeping up with emails and different tickets was IMPORTANT.

• Would work at a fast pace to keep up with tickets to complete all orders for the day. Weigh each part for accurate pricing for UPS.

After I mastered my job and had free time I would clean and then learned the catalyst system so I could pick parts or to put away from receiving. I would pick some of my own tickets when we were backed up, or my driver left for the day. This is how I also got my experience on the cherry picker. I was in house certified and trained on the forklift, cherry picker, and reach. This also was 0-100 lb parts. So when UPS would slow down parts of the year, or overtime, I would grab a ticket, a lift, and pick all till completed then drop off at the doors for shipment on trucks. I worked thru the pandemic and took no leave. NDT Specialist Level 2 / Pipe Inspector Level 2 / Grinder / Hydro Tester / MPI Testing Level 2
