WORK EXPERIENCE
Clicks Pharmacies - Locum Pharmacist Assistant (2017 - to date) I work part-time at Clicks Pharmacies dispensing medication to patients under supervision of a pharmacist, packing stock, stock rotation and performing other housekeeping duties and any duties required from the pharmacy manager.
Right To Care Research Pharmacist Assistant(12/2020 – To date) My daily duties involve dispensing to the clinic under supervision of a pharmacist, pre-packing and labeling medication, stock control, stock rotation, doing cycle monthly counts and stocktaking. Working in a team with the other research site personnel, preparations for the research studies, understanding the protocol and dispensing study product to study participants.
Recently I have been assigned the responsibility of quality assurance and quality control for all site files which requires a great amount of attentiveness. In my current role I had to learn to work under pressure as everything in the research environment is in real time and requires attentiveness.
Right to Care - Call center Pharmacist Assistant (07/2019 – 11/2020) When I worked at our call center department my daily duties were automotive remote dispensing to patients under supervision of a pharmacist while abiding to standard operating procedures, viewing prescriptions, maintain and update patient records, picking medication and labeling medicine, provide brief counselling and excellent customer service. My greatest achievement was being selected to be the call center group team leader.
SA Locums (Right to Care/Hilbrow Regional Pharmacy) - Pharmacist Assistant (capturing) (03/2018 – 06/2019) My daily duties with SA Locums while working under Right to Care were, loading patients on the eRX system, capturing prescriptions, quality control (validating), picking medicine, ordering and receiving stock for PDU sites, issuing medication to PDU sites and stock rotation.
