SUMMARY

I am an ambitious young graduate from both high school and the Royal Canadian Air Cadet program. The Air Cadet program enabled me to reach for my potential and develop strong leadership and life skills, and I am eager to continue my growth. I’m actively seeking a long-term, full time position where I can do just that.

EXPERIENCE

Sobeys (Deli & Hot Foods Counters) - November 2021 - Present

Primary responsibilities center around taking and completing over-the-counter customer food orders:

●Over-the-counter customer service and order-taking.

●Maintain a clean and well-sanitized food preparation space as per health and safety regulations and protocols.

●Keep records of completed tasks and various station metrics, as required to meet department standards as well as health codes set by provincial regulations.

Bluenotes -November 2021 - Present

Primary responsibilities center around providing customer service and maintaining inventory on the sales floor:

●Provide customer service in various ways including assisting with locating items, answering pre-sales questions, and friendly fashion tips.

●Assist team members in maintaining store cleanliness/ordiliness.

●Identifying when stock is low, and restocking as needed.

Mackay Pizza -July 2021 - November 2021

Primary responsibilities centered around taking and completing customer food orders in-person and over-the-phone:

●Over-the-counter customer service and order-taking.

●Over-the-phone customer service and order-taking.

●Prepare patty, sub, and pizza orders in a timely manner..

●Maintain a clean and well-stocked food preparation space.

St. John’s First Aid - 2019

CPR/First Aid. St. John Ambulance. Certified in CPR and First Aid.

Air Cadet Intermediate Musician - 2020

Virtual training course (due to the pandemic) focused on music theory and an in-depth study of military band music.

Air Cadet Air Rifle Marksmanship Instructor - 2019

Completed at CTC Connaught. This course focused on training cadets as marksmanship instructors, enabling graduates to help improve the shooting accuracy and overall competence of the marksmen under them. Core concepts include safety on the range, above all, firearms etiquette, handling and maintenance. There was a secondary focus on Biathalon as well.

Air Cadet Basic Musician - 2018

Completed at CTC Blackdown, Borden. This course focused on military band music and basic music theory. Band members practice stationary as well as while marching.

Air Cadet Basic Aviation - 2017

Completed at CTC Trenton. This course focused on the fundamentals of flight, basics of aircraft, theory of flight, meteorology, engines and air navigation. There was an introduction to using the radio and the phonetic alphabet as well.

Air Cadet General Training - 2016

Completed at CTC Connaught. This course was treated as the mandatory introduction to cadet summer camps for all cadets. Its scope is intentionally broad, covering a variety of topics that are offered in the cadet summer camp programs.

ACHEIVEMENTS

Air Cadet Rank Progression:

●Joined the Royal Canadian Air Cadet program at the age of 12 and progressed through every rank on, or ahead of, time during the 7 year program.

●Retired from the program in 2022 with the rank of Warrant Officer 1st Class (WO1), in the role of Squadran Warrant Officer (SWO).

●The WO1 rank is the highest possible rank an air cadet can achieve and is awarded to one cadet at a time (via Merrit Review Board). This cadet is the bridge between the squadron’s Commanding Officer and the cadet body, and is often referred to as “Chief.”
