Lead Electrical Supervisor 01/2017 to Current

Gulf Coast Electrical Services – Naples, FL

• Began as an electrical assistant and was promoted to lead electrical supervisor in 2019

• Work closely with Journeyman Electrician to learn trade and increase skills while studying to take the Journeyman's Exam myself

• Supervise team and assign work duties aligned with the strengths, weaknesses and experience levels of each member in order to keep the job moving forward in an effective and efficient manner to meet deadlines

• Supervise/inspect team's work ensuring tasks are being completed to our high level of safety and quality standards

• Examine blueprints, work with GC to ensure work is being done to specifications and required timeline

• Install electrical systems in custom homes from the underground (slab) through trim

• Light commercial work, remodels, service calls and warranty work as needed

• Run conduit for underground from meter enclosure to MDP, panels and sub-panels, hang service enclosures, panels etc.

• Examine riser diagrams to ensure proper feeder wires are being ordered, pulled, and cut in

• Ensure panel schedules are being followed properly, perform breaker counts (ordering) and cut panels in

• Work with lighting control systems, primarily Lutron, hanging panels, ensuring proper loads are going to their respective panels and cut in

• Run wire (Romex or MC) for house electrical system from homeruns to looping outlets, switch legs, lighting loads, etc.

• Hang chandeliers, sconces, other light fixtures. Install trims, outlets and plates. Remove old cans/fans/light fixtures as well as old wiring

• Accurately inspect and/or test existing wiring both visually and with a meter to ensure functionality

• Effectively troubleshoot shorts, tripping circuit breakers, improper voltage levels etc. Electrical Assistant 05/2015 to 01/2017

Additional Information

I currently reside in Naples, Florida but am relocating to Fort Worth, TX to be closer to family. I am looking to obtain a position in the area which I would be able to start early October, 2022. I am presently preparing to take the Journeyman's Exam, and, while a Florida license is not reciprocated with Texas, will have completed prior to relocation. I am also prepared to take the necessary steps to obtain a Journeyman's License in Texas.
