For the last 15 years I have worked for Modis/Adecco Technical contracted with Hewlett Packard. Having performed various tests on software, hardware and firmware pertaining to the printer division, I have been promoted from Special Test Operator to Test Engineer 2. During my time as a Special Test Operator, I also worked for Journal Broadcast Group as a Remote Broadcast Technician. Prior to this I gained extensive experience in shipping and receiving between 1997 and 2003.

Maintain tests within an existing framework

Submit defects and resolve defects in a timely manner

Communicate documented test results and issues to engineers and supervisors

Test Technician 3 (August 2009 – November 2012)

Recreate defects found by customers to gather detailed information

Test new firmware builds

Write up defect report detailing all issues found during testing

Setup printers to test, email, send to folder, fax, job storage using a variety of different servers such as SMTP, FTP, Kerberos and Ldap

Test Technician 2 (September 2005 – January 2009)

Test newly developed software, firmware and hardware on printer prototypes

Write up defect report detailing all issues found during testing

Create and maintain Operation System images to company specifications

Troubleshoot printer and scanner errors

Install printers via IPv4, IPv6 and USB

Install and store firmware with Linux

Special Test Operator (July 2003-September 2005)

Test different paper types, weights and sizes on newly developed printers

Document service errors

Document jams and stopped paper positions

Using company van drive to client’s business to setup for live broadcast

Establish remote connection to the broadcast tower
