ROLES & RESPONSBILITIES:

Carrying out Materials planning based on the Customer Schedule for direct materials & maintaining minimum production level for regular moving indirect materials.

Follow up with suppliers for daily manufacturing schedule requirements &indirect materials.

Advance of raw material planning for customer tentative schedule.

Supplier’s daily performance monitoring (Weekly / Monthly) basis.

Co ordinate with the quality team & get approval for the new products.

Timely follow-up with supplier for ECN (Engineering Change Management) and implementation.

Create and Maintenance of QMS documents / Records as per (TS 16949).

Responsible for identifying, planning and Managing operations.

Ensure the production on time.

KEY ACHIVEMENTS:

Suppliers sourcing increased from a single source to multiple choice sources.

VAVE done for a component by the way of change the material without affecting Customer’s Specification and in this case cost saving achieved 10 Lakh.

Non Moving materials converted in to moving materials Cost saving 15 Lakh.
