Hello I am Margo Guardia an 18 year old in Lincoln Park Chicago area looking for a good first time job experience and would love to start as soon as possible! When the amazing chance is made of course. I’ve had one job experience before which was a camp counselor at Phantom Lake YMCA Summer Camp. I have been a camp counselor there for about 5 years now and had to debt with angry, homesick, sick, rowdy kids, parents that wanted to talk to their kids everyday and having to deal with situations like that, and just generally dealing with people everyday so I have good people skills and customer service attitude.I had to keep track of all the kids by myself with help at some points; I would make sure to know where there stuff is and find out where they need to go next throughout the day of fun. I got really good at people skills and know how to be calm in a stressful situations and work well if I’m motivated under stress but can work in stressful environments.

I’ve done volunteer work such as helped feeding the homeless at St.Josephat Church for the years i went there.

I was a girl scout for 5 years sold cookies and lemonade as a kid so i know how to work with money and deal with people.

I’ve volunteered at 5k runs such as the bears run handing out water and snacks as the racers come in after a long run and clean up crew after the race was finished. I know a bit of Spanish and moderate at French so I could probably understand what a customer would want. Im very respectful and punctual so I wouldn’t slack on the job and would love to work here!
