•Perform necessary investigation including radiological imaging and Urodynamic study as well as scopes and biopsy and give proper treatment to urology patients, three OPD a week from 8 am to 5 pm.

•Theatre 2 times a week performing all urology procedure.

Call 24/07 for any emergency urology cases every alternate week.

•Supervising Intern and junior staff

•Providing continuous supervision of the hospital as required by the hospital law.

Experience in polyclinic

I had worked for a period of nearly 2 year from May 2007 to July 2009 in

(Mizdah) city polyclinic, which is a primary health care centre in my area

(west mountain) Libya. During that period I was involved in the management and follow up of diabetic, hypertensive and asthmatic patients and dealing with simple medical cases such as upper respiratory tract infection and gastroenteritis, while referring the sever and complicated cases to the hospital for reassessment and further management. It was the real start of my clinical practice of medicine.

Also dealing with minor surgical & urological cases i.e. simple stitch, dressing.

Experience in urology & General surgery.

After completion of my internship period most of my work was in the field of urology and general surgery.

1) My work in el_khdra teaching Hospital from Sep 2005 up to May 2007

Has given me invaluable experience in urology surgery. It is the 3rd main hospital in Libya, with 40 beds capacity, in urology department.

There is the OPD in separated building also casualty department, which consists of a casualty rooms, observation rooms and a resuscitation room with 6 beds equipped with monitors.

One day duty in casualty is mandatory.

I have been exposed to a large number of cases as the emergency department receives daily a lot cases. During my work in the emergency department room, I've really gained a good experience in dealing with serious cases. Here I have performed live saving procedures such as end tracheal intubation, insertion of chest tube and peripheral lines.

Also 3 days in urology OPD receive new cases & follow up of old cases. One day theatre as assistant of most open & endoscopic operation.

As under vision surgeon of minor operation like high ligation of varicocele & orchiectomy hydrocelectomy, inguinal hernia repair, undescended testis.

2) Work experience in Ali Omar Asker neurosurgery center hospital

From July 2009 up to march2010

As senior doctor in surgical department doing outpatient clinic and operation for elective and emergency cases

3) Urology registrar in urology department of UKZN.

From January 2011 until 31/12/2015.

Participate in all requirements for final urology examination.

Rotation in all urology units in KZN.

Kwa Zulu natal Durban (SA).

I worked from Jan 2011 until December 2015.

I worked in different hospitals because it’s mandatory for registrars and specialist to rotate in all urology units at different hospital.

During my training I participate in all clinical and academic activity.

Doing OPD twice a week and operation twice a week also involved in academic activity once a week for mortality morbidity as well as academic case presentation and siminars of all urology topics.
