PERSONAL DATA My career dream started when I was a kid. Born near Thomson's falls / Nyahururu town a famous tourist site, I would visit every Sunday after church to go and see Monkeys, gazelles and sometimes elephants. The excitement I got in saying hello to tourists and receiving sweets was the watering I needed in choosing my career. After high school I didn't join a college immediately due to lack of money however, that did not kill my dream. 7 years later I joined Kenya Utalii College for the Tour Guide course and I graduated in the year 2001. I was the first person in our class to land a job as an airport representative at Across Africa safaris though not for long due to the bombing of Twin Towers in USA. In the year 2004 I was called by Guerba expedition an International overland tour company and given a job as a truck driver for their trips in Africa. I was given the Kenya Tanzania circuit which lasted 3weeks per trip. I have never looked back or regretted my choice and dream. Tourism is a very sensitive industry and has so many triggers either for or against. However despite all these upheavals I'm still glued to the industry at heart. It has given me an opportunity to interact with international guests, taken me to different places some remote but still eye catching. I'm widely traveled within Kenya, giving me an upper hand in working under stressful situations with a smile and a lot of humility. My dream is to be a bridge for all whether family, guests or fellow countrymen and be a pillar of hope and creating memories.
