I have the creativity, initiative, and talent to excel in all aspects of public relations, including supervising staff, writing and editing press releases, and organizing a department. • Managed staff and the overall operations for all production functions of a newspaper, including office and finances, while providing content and layout management.
• Edited, wrote news stories, and took photographs on occasion for the newspaper; in general, responsibilities included supervision of content and design of the newspaper.
• Created and designed fact sheets to be used as marketing tools.

• Developed and implemented a business plan for LA VOZ, a weekly bilingual Hispanic newspaper.
• Supervised staff in the publication of the weekly newspaper distributed to 28,000 Hispanics.
• Planned, coordinated, and conducted campaigns that enhanced the company and provided a communication channel to owners.
• Performed public relations functions for “La Voz” Newspaper with various business, government, and nonprofit organizations.
• Planned, supervised, and implemented advertising sales campaigns for the “La Voz” Newspaper.
