I am a long haul dispatcher for companies with fleets of trucks, and Independent Owner Operators. My skills include:

Finding and negotiating loads on load boards, such as DAT., Keeping trucks rolling, and knowing the lanes for multiple trailer types across the United States, for maximum revenue. I deal with brokers and drivers directly. Filling out packets, and signing contracts. I have been in the business for 22 yrs. I am very familiar with the best Brokers, paying the best rates.

I have ran multiple companies for Owner Operators, handling everything from negotiating rates, handling any issues with Insurance, submitting their freight bills, working with the largest Factoring Companies available. I also deal with all DOT compliances. But my strongest strengths are my negotiating skills, making sure loads are ready for drivers before they are unloaded. Having excellent Customer Service abilities with customers, as with drivers, and employees..

I am extremely dedicated, and dependable for working independently, and also working as a team. I can handle up to 12 different drivers/owner operators at one time. And usually that consists of 12 different companies, MC numbers, etc. I have also ran a company out of Laredo Tx, from my home here in Iowa with a fleet of 7-9 trucks. The company had been in business for 6 yrs, always in the red. I took over and within a year we were showing profits, and within 3 yrs the company was doing so well they were able to sell it, getting back their original investment, the money they lost those first 6 yrs, and a little extra. I have all the monthly, and weekly reports showing my abilities.. I loved to be challenged on a daily basis. Technically my titles are generally Owner, Logistics Coordinator, Director of Operations, and Fleet Manager.. I would love to work for a company where my skills and my over all experience in the last 22 yrs will be needed and appreciated.

TITLE : Operations Manager

Canestone had a fleet of 7-9 trucks. I ran all of them. Found their loads. Handled the Logistics of where to take them, and how to keep the overall per mile average at the very highest. Kept the trucks moving constantly. No layovers; their next loads were ready for them before they got unloaded.

Made all decisions concerning drivers miles, hours, vacations etc. I have always had extremely good communication with all my drivers. We were a team. I did for them, and they did the same for me.

I learned so much in those years at Canestone, but unfortunately when we brought them up high enough where they were able to get back their investment, plus a little extra. They sold the company to a company in Mexico. But I still have every monthly report. I would get a

$500 bonus for keeping the per mile average for every truck at $1.75 or more for the entire month. I believe I received five of those.
