I work in the Quality Department, my duties are comprised of testing parts for Honda Transmissions,
fixing and cleaning gauges, logging information into the computer about the parts that are rejected and
the parts that have been put on hold due to an issue. I run various office equipment and mechanical
equipment. I am also responsible for gathering information about problems that arise with our
customers, and make sorting operation standards to ensure that our customers receive a quality
product. I answer phones and talk call offs and schedules appointment

I started off in assembly where I assembled Plastic Fuel Tanks for Honda,
I later went to Quality Assurance where I tested the Plastic Fuel Tanks for stability and also check the
various other parts made by the company. I was responsible for using a band saw to cut parts
that had been welded on the tanks on the robotic assembly line. I was also responsible for determining
good and bad product that the assembly workers questioned. I worked with a CMM machine and
Contracer. I then went to being a Team Lead, I was responsible for making sure the group of people I
was in charge of had everything they needed to do their Jobs, completed beginning and end of day
paperwork, assisted the group in reaching their goals every day. I then went back to Quality Assurance
because my third shift position was eliminated.
I found a job closer to home.
