Position: Network Manager November Till Date

Manage all PHED network assets within the zone: Meter distribution transformers, Lines, injection substations; initiate network re-configuration for overloaded feeders/transformers in the zone to ensure assets longevity

Oversee network project executions and commissioning, including equipment testing across the zone in collaboration with the project teams and external contractors in line with the company's established policies and processes.

Drive technical loss reduction across the feeders through effective transformer load balancing, good knitting of jumper cables, recommending incorrectly sized transformers for replacement, improving the connection quality of conductors (power lines), ensuring a clear line of sight of power lines through vegetation clearing

Reduce downtime on feeder availability by ensuring faults are cleared on the line in a timely and safe way

Ensure the quality of electricity supply across the zone network/feeders through the proper planning and execution of periodic preventive maintenance liaising with the central control dispatch team.

Supervises metering team and ensures standards in metering installations

Check and ensures functionality of the different types of meters in the network under coverage

Carry out functionality tests of electrical meters

Ensures electricity thefts are eliminated and provides techniques in theft detection.
