I have, while employed here, have acquired a national contractor’s license for my company which allows us to operate in about 27 states as I understand. As well as some testing for some individual states. Such as Virginia, and South Carolina, that don’t abide by the national contractor’s license. I also hold a Commercial Supervisor license (CSL) in the state of Mass. Which is needed to simply be a superintendent working in Mass. I have passed the test for International building codes both in 2009 and 2014, for both residential and commercial construction. I essentially have the knowledge and passed a lot of the same tests, if not all, that a building inspector would be required to take.

Responsibilities included supervising the carpenter, drywall, EIFS crews as well as layout, material takeoff and purchasing for all types of commercial construction. Some of our clients were Walmart, Joanne Fabrics, Jarod’s Jewelry, Bed Bath Beyond, Howard Hanna, Ringold School District. My biggest job was a 21 story high rise building in down town Pittsburgh was formerly owned by a bank, and converted into condos. OSHA was called out because of a death on the jobsite, and I passed with no violations for our company, as well as successfully completing the job.

Supervised 30 employees and subs.
