- While a supervisor with the United States Postal Service (USPS), selected as one of only two

Quality Practitioners of approximately 10,000 employees in the Los Angeles cluster. With 200

hours of Process Management preparation that included statistical analysis, facilitation training,

and leadership development, implemented process management systems in the Mail Processing

Operations at the Los Angeles Processing and Distribution Center from 1998-2002.

- _ Prepared and scheduled 3-hour process management courses for more than 2,500 employees as

well as more detailed 8-hour courses for management personnel during oversight of Mail

Processing Operations

- 1988 certification course from Mt San Antonio College in Concrete imparted knowledge and ability

to skillfully complete projects through the years such as walkways and driveways

= Building of customized room lofts, covered patios and sheds, as well as installation of windows and

replacement of asphalt roofing shingles directly honed requested handyman skills

1978-2008 Operations Quality Improvement Specialist, United States Postal Service (USPS)

- From 1986-1998, supervised various Mail Processing Operations with an average of 25 employees

under my direction.

- Selected in 2004 to lead a team of postal managers involved with staffing of large Mail Processing

Facilities in Santa Ana and San Bernardino utilizing a new management tool called “Labor

Scheduler” to reduce costs and increase efficiency.

1981-1986 Sergeant, United States Marine Corps Reserves

- Values of honor, courage, and commitment instilled in intense training and work in Military

Occupational Specialties (MOS). Distinguished with “Series High Shooter” Award, upon graduation

of Boot Camp - best out of 244 recruits with the M-16 rifle. Selected for Jump School at Fort

Benning GA., receiving Honor Graduate - best of 363 candidates.
