OBJECTIVE
To obtain a challenging and rewarding position with an industry-leading organization that enables my work experiences and growth-oriented mindset to significantly impact the overall success of the organization.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
3/1/1979- 104/20- Owner, Pinnacle Maintenance, Inc. At the age of 23, I set out to establish myself in the business world by starting up my own contract cleaning service. I was able to accomplish this primarily by making cold sales calls on retail managers and corporate district managers, including representatives of Krogers, Walmart Stores, K-Mart, and Walgreens.
Responsibilities:
After making initial sales calls and successfully being awarded new accounts, I negotiated new contracts and followed through with the implementation of contracts by developing excellent communication skills and building outstanding team dynamics with my crews and the various store locations.
Throughout the past 34 years, I have continued to call on new businesses in order to generate profitable new revenue sources, thus enabling me to sustain and grow my business across the state of Nebraska.
I planned, developed, and executed an effective marketing strategy, with specific growth initiatives that specifically targeted adjustments in our industry, that enabled us to be competitive and aggressive in dealing with our competitors.
I personally hired, trained, and managed over 200 employees, and performed various associated aspects of accounting, billing, and scheduling of crews. Results and Accomplishments
Effectively started a new business from the ground up by being industrious and extremely self-motivated.
Been able to establish and continue to build sustained relationships with business clients that continue down to this day.
Have been able to grow and increase sales to over 1.3 million dollars annually.
