Stores Officer

Roles and responsibilities :-

* Responsible for unloading the materials and verify the invoice, excise duty for the invoice.

* Making GRN (Goods Receipt Note) for all Materials receiving from vendor.

* Allot MCN ( Material Control No ) for Raw materials like Plate, Pipe, tube, Etc.,

* Quality accepted material shell move to the bins,pallet,rack proper location.

* To ensure the proper tagging of identification slip on bin card on each items. Ensure adequate space and space utilization of warehouse.

* To prepare the invoice or RMGP/NRGP for outgoing materials.

* Stocking the received materials and maintain the MSL for consumable item. Maintain the inventory as zero deviation in stock.

* Well knowledge about perpetual inventory.

Verify the LUT for which materials are covered in inward.

* Interaction with CHA for materials custom clearance.

* Get the knowledge from custom in Bill of Entry for received Materials.

* Issue the material against MRN (Material Request Note), MO (Manufacturing Order) and post it in the ERP.

* Prepare the kit as per the production order and send to production in timely deliver.

* Plan the layout marking for place the kit at the production area.

* Material flow control in profile cutting, welding shop, fitting shop, machine shop, assembly.

* Well exposure in two bin card system, modular warehouse system, FIFO, poke yoke.

* Maintain a record of all the activities done regarding after the stock physically verification and computerized and located every items through code no. in bin card.

* Perform the issuing material and receiving material.

* Maintain and check minimum stock in store for all raw materials and consumable materials.(weekly & monthly) Indent all material through SAP system.

* Coordinating with shop floor for production planning, alternative product development and avoiding under stocking and over stocking.

* Developing effective material management systems & procedures for inventory items for better inventory control.

Implementation of 5’S.

* Coordinating with purchase team for getting materials on time.

* Communicate to purchase team for PO related issue.

* Materials issue to line and posted in system (SAP) and send the shortage materials detail to planning team.

* Rejection material posting in the system (SAP) and follow to send the material to vendor.
