DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•Establish the need for Safety Equipment, first aid, fire protection, hygiene and sanitation etc, to ensure minimum safety & health requirements are met.

•Facilitate the investigation of all incidents. Ensure root causes are identified, controls established and implemented.

•Participate and conduct Safety Inspections and Audits at all project locations and activities. Render reports to the Project Manager/Cooperate Safety Manager for appropriate actions.

•Maintain a constant moving patrol of assigned work areas to observe unsafe acts/conditions, and implement the actions necessary to correct noncompliance.

•Follow-up on the implementation of Corrective & Preventive Action. Evaluate the effectiveness of Controls. And Vigilant about unsafe acts and condition at concern site.

•Responsible for preparation and maintenance of safety promotion activities such as displaying safety porters, safety signs, banners and publication of safety newsletters, etc.
