Experience
Founder of Children of Peace International, a non-profit 501©(3) since March 1993 – current. We base in Loveland, Colorado.
• Volunteer 30 hours/week with the organization. We are caring for 8,500 orphans, homeless children, children of working poor families in all of Vietnam. We do not have paid-staff in the USA, we have two employees and an army of volunteers in Vietnam.
• We have 14 orphanages and schools to support. We raise and educate the children in our cares.
• We provide over 1,000 scholarships to children who live in poor communities and the indigenous children of several tribes.
• We built schools and dormitories for the children who live too far from schools, this way the children can stay at school and have a decent education.
• We host two medical missions to Vietnam each year since 1997. We provide free medical and dental cares to 3,000 patients each year. My job is recruiting doctors, students, nurses and dentists from all over the world to join us. I applied permission, travel visas, reserve hotels, trains, buses and air-tickets for the entire team.
• I schedule all projects serving the children in Vietnam, write proposals, agreements with the Vietnamese government.
• I train our care-givers annually with other team members on Early Childhood Development.
• Myself and members of our board of directors write grants, travel to raise funding and organize annual fund raisers to keep our work in Vietnam remain in service. Integrate Circuit Chip Designer, Hewlett-Packard, Fort Collins, CO 1979 – 2002
• I worked as Circuit Chip designer for HP for 11 years. In 1990, I became their IT support for their cleanroom, my job is to automate the cleanroom software and hardware for 10 years. My last 4 years with Hewlett-Packard, I worked as the head of the training department. We trained new engineers, new technicians and new employees in sales, customer services, customer needs and manufacturing department. Education and Training
Information Technology – Colorado State University, Fort Collins, CO. Completed 3 years and 2 months at CSU before I had to quit school due to the death of our son.
