Service Governance Team
• Tested the team’s new software service release checker tool and helped the team transition to this tool by paying close attention to clients’ experiences with it and promptly fixing bugs as and when they were discovered.
• Streamlined a complex triage process and cleanly integrated it into the team’s software service release checker tool. This made the service release checking process much more user friendly and easier to navigate.
• Developed a database to keep track of all of the services released using our tool and wrote a guide describing SQL queries that can be used to edit and add to the database and to search for specific services using the various features stored in the database.

• Worked with a small group of fellows and the city government of Detroit’s Housing and Revitalization department (HRD) to develop an affordable housing search tool for low-income residents.
• Parsed large datasets and developed features to display relevant data on housing listings.
• Collaborated with members of HRD and presented new features to them and their higher ups.
