I don't have a bachelor's degree...but what I do have is 25 years of customer service and sales..I have been very successful by showing confidence in my presentation and knowing my product inside and out...and most important...just being an honest customer service rep and being nice to people.. I went to broadcasting school and just because I didn't make it a career..it was very valuable to my work life...I learned the skill of self confidence when you speak to people you don't know...it taught me how to pronounce certain bullet point words using the volume of my voice to express the value and importance of the word and why it was import to our conversation.. Recently I have worked as an independent contractor...a friend told he was doing it and making insane money ..I at the time was trying to pay my kids college loans off..so I made the switch and I've made what I needed to get rid of that debt...but the drawbacks are: 1. No vacation pay

2. No holiday pay

3. No sick day pay

4. Pay for your own fuel...and my monthly fuel bill has gone from $500 a month to $1000-$1500 a month the last 2 years..The breaker for us was last year I ended up in the COVID unit at Akron City Hospital with COVID and double pneumonia...I was in the unit for 2 weeks and was off recovering for 4 months at home...4 months without pay about put us under...Thank God my wife is a respiratory therapist and makes decent money and we had a good amount in savings...my wife and I have decided that it's time to move on to a different career...we both said that it would be nice to find a job working from home or something that I can use my skills to help me be successful...when I saw your job listing it really caught my eye and sounded like the perfect fit...I hope to hear from you ..I want to find my last new job..Im a hard worker and catch on very fast . June 2004 to March 2014

I was a state licensed fire protection inspector...I managed a route that consisted of over 900 customers...about 95% of them were businesses..I made a once a year visit to inspect their fire extinguishers, exit lights and emergency lights...I also took back any extinguishers that needed service to our warehouse and then returned them when finished..I was also responsible for handling and service calls and making new sales to build my route.

August 1998 to April 2004

I maintained a uniform route that consisted of 150 customers...once a week I would deliver clean uniforms to my customers and put them in lockers...after putting them in the lockers I would empty a large locker that contained the dirty uniforms they had worn that week...return them to our warehouse to be cleaned and then take them back clean the following week on the same day of the week I was responsible for returning any service calls.. I had to make cold calls in person to other companies to get new business.. I was responsible after getting a new customer to set an appointment to go out to their location and measure all the new employees for uniforms and installation of the new locker beys. I maintained a lawn care route that included using a broadcast spreader to put down fertilizer...I would then use the hose that was on a spool on the bed of my company truck to blanket spray weed killer over the entire lawn over the fertilizer...I was responsible for any service calls and also making cold calls by stopping at homes and businesses to drop off literature showing what our company supplied...I trained new employees and also managed a telemarketing group that cold called people and set up appointments for myself and fellow Customer Reps to go out and provide new business quotes.
