PROJECT TITLE:

Different shapes of spoilers on symmetrical airfoil.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The effect of spoilers on aerodynamic characteristics of an airfoil was observed by CFD. Here was chosen NACA 0012 symmetrical airfoil. Spoiler was design in GAMBIT & analyse in FLUENT software’s. The lift is reduced & the drag is increased that obeys the basic function of a spoiler for safe landing.
