Active member of the Harmful algae monitoring program in coastal and shellfish production areas, focusing in studies dealing with the role of plankton in marine food chain processes in controlling primary production, effects of environmental parameters in phytoplankton structure and function, looking for tools on behalf of environmental management, providing essential information for sustainable exploitation of marine resources.

Conducting research and projects related to phytoplankton eco-toxicology field
