Location: ERKYAH & FOXHILL Lusail, State of Qatar

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible in the quality and workmanship of every activity, thorough knowledge of all phases of engineering construction relating to Civil, Architectural and Structural discipline interfacing the multidisciplinary operations.

• Develop method statement for the activity including risk assessment and job safety environmental analysis and Inspection Test Plan and Checklist based on specifications of the project. P E R S O N A L S K I L L S

• Liaise the Technical Engineer for submission of material submittals to consultant.

• Develop and determine all standards to perform inspection and tests on all procedures and oversee all testing methods and maintain high standards of quality for all processes.

• Responsible for QA/QC documents of the complete project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered, and other important QA/QC documents.

• Review the quality of all materials at the site and ensure compliance with all project specifications and quality and collaborate with the department for all material procurement and maintain a quality of materials

• Supervise the effective implementation of all test and inspection schedules and ensure adherence to all procedures and coordinate with various teams to perform quality audits on processes.

• Take control for all quality measures and procedures of construction methodology of work in project site.

• Ensuring all materials delivered to site are inspected and conform to specified requirements.

• Inspection of all construction activities at job site if conformed to quality and procedure prior submitting any inspection request to avoid rejection during consultant inspection.

• Inspection during casting of concrete i.e. ready mixed concrete slump cone test, temperature test, delivery notes if conformed to specification, sample cubes, concrete application to structure if conformed to quality standard and procedure, and prepares field record of concreting for approval by consultant.

• Manage all work methods and maintain knowledge on all quality assurance standards and monitor continuous application for all quality assurance processes and recommend corrective actions for all processes.

2. January 2015 to July. 2018 Snr. QA/QC Engineer/ Architectural Company:

Project: NPP (New Port Project Qatar)

Location: Mesaieed Doha, State of Qatar

Client: Ministry of transportation & Communication DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepares Quality Control Program on all items of works applicable for the project implementation, review and evaluate pertinent notes specified on the contract plans.

• Inspection of site activities like Base slab, Internal & external walls, and Column work in daily basis

• Prepares daily laboratory activities, supervise, and perform all material related testing activities at field as well as in the project testing laboratories.

• Performing daily routine inspection and preparing a daily report to QA/QC Manager

• To review WIR/RFI /MIR prior to submission for PMC

• Reviewing approved SD/IFC drawing

• Carried out frequency inspection as per Approved ITP on each activity

• Monitoring daily ongoing activities at site as per Approved M/S and with accordance with project specification and QCS standard

• Preparing Defect report for any post pour concrete found defect (e.g. Honeycomb, crack, void, cold joint, pin holes, bulging etc.)

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform all daily inspection and test of the scope and character necessary to achieve the quality of construction required in the drawings and specifications for all works under the contract performed ON or OFF site.

• Cary out inspection and checking for all quality related procedures in the site and ensures activity at site are as per approved method statement and inspection test plan.

• Coordinate with the consultant’s representative and Site En-charge for inspection and meeting about quality problems including closure of Non-Compliance Report.

• Report to the QA/QC Manager, control and monitor all activities related to Quality Management System, QMS.

• Monitor the quality control indicators and alert sub-contractor site engineers in cases of deviation and propose corrective measures to be applied.

• Review Drawings & Specifications, Laboratory Test Results, Inspection and test plan, and Method Statements for implementation.

• Witness along with the client representative and consultants the testing of materials and structures (e.g. concrete sampling, trial mix, materials testing for building, etc.) if it conforms to the design / specifications of the international standards.

• Prepares Inspection Requests and other quality related reports/documents of every activity and monitor accomplishments.

• Implement all aspect of quality assurance/control system on all materials; keep on file test results and calibration reports of test equipment’s.

• Ensure that the process of work is in accordance with the method statements and approved drawings are followed.
