As a supervisor I have 4-15 guards that I coordinate event security with as well as work the event/site. This includes foot and vehicle (Roving) patrol, the use of metal detectors/wands, bag searches and pat downs. During roving patrol, I ensure that perimeters and buildings are secure both during active and after business hours as well as site assets such as equipment and vehicles. I use existing CCTV and surveillance systems to monitor sites, record, scan and dispatch personnel when needed. During emergency events, I coordinate with guard team as well as notify event/site personnel of the issues that arise and determine whether it needs to be escalated to the proper authorities. Maintain detailed logs of activities and incidents that occur during shift. Assist with site directions and help clients and guests arrive to their requested destinations if needed.
