Peavey is a manufacture of guitars, electrical guitars, speaker units for guitars, commercial sound cabinets, custom sound cabinets, organ systems and microphones. My responsibility and duties consisted of managing and supervising the following departments in the final assembly process: (1) 3010, which manufactured single unit top box speaker cabinets, (2) 3020, manufactured custom speaker cabinets of all shapes and sizes and plastic speaker cabinets, (3) 3080, manufactured commercial sound speaker cabinets, (4) 3240, manufactured foot switch units, (5) 4010, manufactured single unit speaker cabinets with tubes. Pemco Aeroplex, Inc. is a maintenance depot for military and commercial aircraft. A military contractor operation since the 1940’s that repairs U. S. Government military and commercial aircraft. Inspect, design, and fabricate sheet metal replacement material and parts and make repairs on commercial aircraft, KC 130 U.S. Air Force Cargo planes and troop carriers, and KC 135 U.S. Air Force Jet Tankers that refuel Air Force planes in flight. Maintenance also includes removal of corrosion from existing metal and parts for treating and painting.

12/97- 07/98 Production Shift Manager Marconi Communication LaGrange, GA A telecommunication company that fabricates and assembles communication equipment for Sprint, Bell South, etc. Accomplishments: Supervised 2nd shift fabrication department start up for the company. Achieved start up in record time. Personnel management and supervision of the fabrication department. Maintained time and attendance reports and counseling sessions, written disciplinary actions, safety and production reports. Operations and machines include Finn Shear Geniuses, LVD Brakes, welding stations, staging and hanging area for cabinet components. Components are hung to be washed, dried, painted and cured. Paint booths and powder coat painting systems are used.

09/96-10/97 Production Supervisor Kysor/Warren Manufacturing, Inc., Conyers, GA A manufacturing facility that builds refrigerated food display cases for major supermarket chains. Trained in production and shipping departments to assist and relieve company supervisors for vacation and sickness. Departments consisted of sheet metal, welding, foaming, refrigerated case assembly and refrigerated coils. Became proficient in company policies and procedures. During extended absence of the welding supervisor served as supervisor of the department. Initiated and implemented changes to streamline efficiency reducing costs and increased productivity.
