I do design work for the submarines at Electric Boat. I have over 7 years experience in design work with extensive experience in 2D and 3D modeling & blueprinting. CAD & NX have been my expertise, mainly NX. I've been put to the test in my experience with Electric Boat and learned and gained as much knowledge as I could working here. I've had to meet deadlines from work on short notice many times to get a job done out the window with the trust of my employers. Meeting the deadlines on jobs is something I constantly have to do, so being a team player and doing whatever it takes even if it meant coming in on weekends was what I was willing to do to finish an assignment. Electric Boat has taught me a lot about the corporate world and what it takes to get assignments completed for high end companies so I understand the importance of what it means and what it takes to get the job finished. I've had mentors to teach me and would go to them with questions if I ever ran into something I didn't know. Communicating was strongly encouraged so asking and helping others is what I'm adjusted to. Stocker

For 4 years at this trade school I learned about drafting and picked up skills in CAD and Inventor. I even learned old school drafting design drawings on the white board. My skills and knowledge led me to land the job at Electric Boat. September 2009 to June 2013
