RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for Factory Automation systems and Factory Floor IT. Automation system maintenance and upgrades (WinCC Flex, Factory Talk ME, WW application server). Maintenance of industrial network infrastructure i.e., HP ProLiant DL380p Gen 8 server, cisco switches and routers. Maintaining IT and Automation infrastructure (running updates, backing up programs and making any necessary modification on the FAS infrastructure)

• Automation and maintenance of mining machines (Continuous miner, drag line, conveyor systems), Coal fired boilers, Coal processing plant, HVAC, Air compressors.

• Creating & managing the instruments calibration plan and performing factory instruments calibrations and internal calibration audits of measuring instruments for Flow, Level, Pressure, Temperature, mass, and analytical instruments.

• Supervise the Electrical and instrumentation team ensuring safety and legal standards are adhered to. Closing of E&A audit gaps and managing improvement projects in electrical and automation.

• Training work groups on TPM methodologies.

• Installing, configuring, and maintaining AC drives (Danfoss, Allen Bradley and Schneider)

• Making modifications on plant to optimize plant operations and to close C & I audit gapes.
