Work Experience
Licensed Practical Nurse
IntelyCare Staffing Agency - Quincy, MA
June 2018 to Present
I am currently the full time LPN on 2p-10p shift. I am in charge of 3-5 CNA’s each evening and 42 residents. I pass medications at their given times, take blood sugars, give insulin, take vitals, feeding tubes, and also help with patient care when needed. I enjoy working with my residents and co-workers and get along with everyone well. I have had many complications from staff and residents on my job performance and care for my job. I have a 9 year old daughter and my hours are extremely straining on her and am looking for a day time schedule.
LPN Charge Nurse
The Pines - Glens Falls, NY
January 2018 to May 2018
I am the charge nurse on overnights for the 3rd floor. This floor is considered the Dementia/ Alzheimer’s floor. I am responsible for 40 residents over night and have two CNA’s that work with me that I directly oversee. During the night I pass meds, take vitals when needed, do glucose tests when needed, write progress notes, receive meds from the pharmacy and scan them into the computer. I am responsible for doing INR’s on the overnight shift as well as BM list for each resident. I also do treatments when needed.

Answer phones, hiring, scheduling, vehicle assignments, billing. I resigned from this position to begin my nursing career.
Teachers Assitant
Saratoga Bridges - Clifton Park, NY
December 2005 to April 2007
I worked in the Day Habilitation building as a teacher's assistant. My duties were to help the teacher with the daily routines for each individual as well as getting them off the buses in the morning and ready to go home and on the buses in the afternoons. I went through take down training in the event that one of them had a behavior. I sincerely enjoyed working with this population of people and got along very well with them. I took the civil service test back in 2006 I believe and scored and 86%. This was truly one of my favorite jobs I have ever had.
HHA - Home Health Aide
Interim HealthCare - Queensbury, NY
January 2005 to December 2005
I worked int the client's home helping them with their everyday tasks. I was able to help them out of bed and help them get dressed and ready for the day. I helped with denture care as well as hearing aides and any other type of personal care items they had. I did their household chores, took them to the grocery store if needed, and took care of their animals if they had any. If I was working the late shift I would help them get ready and/or get them in bed. I helped with toileting as well if needed. At this point I had no certifications so I was unable to do any type of medication administration, however if they had to take medications on my shift as long as their medications were in a weekly planning box I could remind them to take them.
