PCoDe & DMS where two distinct projects with a couple of common goals:

• Upgrading the companies Desktop User Base from Windows 2000 to Windows XP Professional

• Removal of unlicensed software application from corporate technology assets

• Migrating existing user data from Win2K standard to Windows XP-Pro Application Base Environment

• Implementing new User and Group Active Directory Global Policies for overall Security and Control. My duties and responsibilities as a Migration Specialist entailed building new O/S on client new and existing Equipment. And subsequently moving Client Data from there old Win2K environment to WinXP with no Data loss.

Health Science Center Brooklyn (3/2002 - 9/2003) Laboratory Construction & Management

During my stint with SUNY Downstate I had the opportunity to oversee the

complete construction of a Laboratory area designed for Neuro & Hippo-Campal Research. I served as a

liaison between the Physiology Department and Building Contractor ensuring that the contractor

constructed the New Lab to the specifications of the Physiology department. In addition to this role I participated in

the Planning and Implementation of the lab’s Internal Computer Network. This entailed constructing custom P.C.

equipment for lab use as well as Procurement of Server Hardware (Compaq Proliant). Finally all systems

were integrated into an Open Windows Linux/ Unix environment.

Island Computing Products Inc. (2/1998 - 3/2000) Financial Management System (FMS)

The FMS project was an Y2K project implemented by IBM and ICP for New York City Government Agencies. ICP served as Primary Sub-Contractor to IBM in this project. The particulars of this project provided for the fundamental upgrade of the financial component (Fiscal Unit) of each city agency. The project focused on P.C. and Server Application installation as well as Router implementation

for the City’s new Network Infrastructure. My participation in this project spanned from initial agency contract and survey to final Product implementation.

NAMSI/Sagem Morpho Systems: (10/1995 -11/1997) State Automated Finger Imaging Systems I participated in the First Ever Implementation of Automated Finger Imaging System for New York State. As a customer engineer my duties entailed the implementation, preliminary training and ongoing support of both the states Civil and Criminal AFIS Systems. The company used it proprietary software combined with states Local and Wide Area Network infrastructure to roll out both Civil and Criminal Application to achieve state-wide coverage.
