Re: Application for a Personal Support Worker position
Dear Employer,
I am writing to apply for the position of a personal support worker at your institution. I am a graduate from the Acedemy of Learning college institute and have acquired the necessary knowledge and skills to enable me to successfully fulfill the responsibilities of this opportunity.
Caring for others is my passion and as someone who has compassion for people especially the vulnerable, I believe I will make a remarkable difference in the lives of your residents. I work well in a team environment and can juggle many tasks at a time to ensure goals are met. Having completed my field placement at 1130 Bough Bechees(Rever) retirement home and supportive housing respectively, the experience has added extra skills and knowledge and makes me more confident with future tasks. I also have experience as a Personal Support worker at Norfinch Care Community and Circle of Care Agency. Also, a nurse in an health centre in Douala, Cameroon.
My word processing ability is quick and accurate.
I possess First Aid, CPR/AED certification, Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Prevention certification (CPI) and Safety Management certification respectively. My English verbal and written communication abilities are excellent. I am available to work at all times, including weekends.
I would look forward to the opportunity to meet with you to discuss how my skills and experience will enable me to successfully and positively fulfill the responsibilities of this position.
Yours truly.
