JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Review contract requirements for project execution, participates in the preparation of the Technical Document Register
(TDR), identify requirements and scope of work; Specifications, Calculations, Drawings, Philosophies and other relevant documents.
Performs FEED, detail engineering designs and review of telecommunication and ICT systems.
Prepares and performs Technical Bid Evaluations and vendor documents.
Direct & supervise a team of relevant discipline engineers. Responsible for providing expertise and ensures the application of correct standards in all FEED/EPC deliverables in the design and development of projects associated with Oil & Gas processing, production and export.
Participate in key design reviews such as HAZID, HAZOP, model reviews, etc. Prepare, review and approve relevant discipline design and analyses reports.
Plan, Monitor and assists telecom system integrator’s activities as required.
Involved in Factory and Site Acceptance Tests as well as material delivery checks, verification, and inspections. Preparing documents related to the tests to be carried out at Vendor’s premises or other location.
Meet with vendor representatives, inspect vendor works and workshops, provide dispatch clearance and test certificates.
Co-ordinates with the client about Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) of UAE for frequency and radio licenses issues of telecommunications equipment, and Etisalat for telecom related issues.
Coordinates with other engineering disciplines to ensure proper integration of the systems.
Permanently liaise with Start-up Team for Field Operations personnel participation to testing and witnessing of the activities
Plan, Monitor and assists telecom system integrator’s activities as required.
Act as project representative for the discipline during meetings with project team, customer discipline lead and relevant regulatory agencies such as certifying authorities, auditors, third parties, etc.
