Having served as many roles within the hospital system this has systematically provided advance proficiently through the healthcare system. Served as a preceptor Nurse Practitioner preceptor for approximately 10 NP students. Preceptor relationships with University of Arizona, Arizona State University, University of Phoenix, Chamberlain University, Grand Canyon University, South University, Western University of Health Sciences & Frontier University.
Assisted with the development of a Nursing Mentor program to assist with retaining new graduate RNs within the Banner organization. This program reduced nursing turn over rates by 27% within the first year. This program provided a support system and mentorship to new nurses and provided tools to increase their level of success.
Developed audit tools and participant in chart audits to help prevent Ventilator Associated Pneumonia, Core Measures, and Blood Stream Infections to improve of patient outcomes and shorten patient length of stay within the hospital setting.
Participated in Shared Leadership within Magnet Hospitals (John C Lincoln & Banner Good Samaritan) to enhance overall nursing professional development.

Designed a new process that was able to capture over $700,000 of lost charges from CRRT missing charges within my first month of my current position at Sunrise Hospital.
Served as a preceptor for UNLV to assist senior BSN and MSN students to develop and complete their “management clinical” hours prior to graduation at Sunrise Hospital.
FNP rotation spent at Banner Good Samaritan in the OB/GYN departments for approximately 350 patients. Spent time with a California MD to complete the majority of my 150 Pediatric hours. The bulk of my FNP clinic hours were spent in a general practice that focused on complex disease processes such as HTN, HIV, bipolar processes, and general family practice issues.
