• Electroplating wastewater: Performed experiment to reduce the quantity of hexavalent chromium in electroplating wastewater by chemical precipitation, analyzed wastewater by Induction coupled plasma spectroscopy (ICP-MS) and ion chromatography (IC). Optimized various parameter to enhance the reduction from 88% to 97.9%.

• Modeled gasification process over cogeneration in sugar cane mill: Used ASPEN PLUS to model the surplus energy produced by gasification process than cogeneration in sugar mill. Performed heat integration to optimized flow sheets. Concluded the gasification process increase surplus energy about 1.12 kWh/kg of bagasse at 8% moisture content (by wt.).

• Ethanol production from lignocellulosic material by Recombinant Strain: Produced Ethanol from Banana pseudo stem, sugarcane bagasse and sugarcane leaves, computed different pre-treatment methods to remove lignin. Recombinant strain of Pichia stipitis and S. cerevisiae were used to ferment the hydrolyzed biomass. Yield of ethanol increased by two times by using recombinant starin. Internship
