EXPERIENCE

Quality Control Assistant, Ghana Cocoa Board (National Service) – (September 2018 - August 2019). Whole activities deal with sampling cocoa beans for quality inspection to ensure its conformance to the established international quality standards.

• Worked with a team of two (2) Senior Officers and five (5) graders.

• Worked on a maximum of three (3) trucks with 600 sacks of beans daily each making a total of 1800 sacks of Cocoa beans.

• Assisted to weigh the sampled beans for records keeping.65Kg of the sampled beans is kept at the warehouse whiles a sample box of 4Kg beans is sent to the cutting room for further confirmatory and verification of the assessed field quality.

• Cross-checked the information on the way bills with those on the trucks, sheds, stacks, buying company’s names and on the sacks for confirmation.

• Inspected quality parameters like moisture, insect infestation, broken beans, foreign materials, abnormal odor, smoky beans, dryness, fermentation, oil stains, weak sacks, and wet sacks and beans grade.

• Assisted in the use of Aqua Boy to check moisture content (8% max.) of the cocoa beans.

• Assisted to inspect for the presence or absence of Cocoon, oil stained sack, broken beans, smoky beans, foreign materials, dirt, wet sacks, weak sacks, wrong or miswritten of station marks, company’s codes, seal numbers and lot numbers which is the ideal hallmark for accepting or rejecting the beans.

• Took charge of the preparation and submission of the arrivals, accepting, and rejection and evacuation tallies.

• Assisted in the gathering and submission of unused sacks, sample boxes, tallies and field quality equipment to the Senior Officers.

• Assisted in the tagging of accepted sacks beans with station-wise designated tags for special Overseas Cocoa Shipment.

• Reported to the Senior Officers concerning quality inconveniences encounter at the field and

• Assisted in the monitoring of the careers to make sure they do not stack the unfit and rejected sacks of beans together with conformed and accepted ones.

Medical Laboratory Assistant Intern, Effiduasi Government Hospital – (May 2017-August 2017)

• Worked with five(4) Senior Technicians and a minimum of seven(5) Juniors for day shift

• Worked on a minimum of 70 patients out of the 700 patients who visits the lab daily.

• Worked with one (1) Senior Technician and two (2) junior technicians for night shift.
