I am in the final year of studies towards a BHS Public health degree. I am conscientious, resourceful, and always take the initiative. My studies have allowed me to develop public health science & social science methodologies, problem-solving abilities, critical thinking & ways to research a multitude of tasks. My goal is to build on this skill set by gaining experience within the profession. I wish to excel, in not only the theoretical aspects but also the practical elements of Public Health.

CAREER RELATED PROJECTS
Researched and wrote a 28-page program proposal, this paper is an overview of my proposed theoretical program that includes a logical model for Increasing Education & Awareness of mental health support services to reduce the suicide rates of men in Medicine Hat.
Completed a paper on raising the awareness of HIV/ADIS. I presented it to students in University of Lethbridge. Together, as part of a 4-person team, we organized the material and presented to the whole class.
Working in Turning point society, harm reduction in central Alberta, with different approaches to improve the community health. The organization holds the different needs of people delivering private and professional necessities for people who struggle with substance use disorder, homeless and women’s program.
