In my current position, I open up the organization’s D.C. office Reception area and staff the Reception Desk from 8 until 8:30 a.m. until the Full-Time Receptionist arrives. I staff the Reception Desk during the Receptionist’s lunch hour, and I am the back-up receptionist whenever the Full-Time Receptionist is out of the office.

In my role as a Part-Time Receptionist, I answer the main telephone line, route callers, and as necessary, respond to general inquiries for information. I greet visitors in a professional, friendly, welcoming manner. I log them in and provide them building access by issuing the appropriate type of visitor badge and notifying their host that their visitor(s) have arrived. I maintain and update the D.C. office newspapers and magazines distribution list. I organize and place our daily newspapers and magazines in a designated place in the reception area for staff retrieval. I am responsible for keeping the Third Floor Reception area neat and clean. I am responsible for expeditiously processing facilities and maintenance requests with appropriate building and maintenance staff via one of two systems the PCAOB uses for this purpose. In my role as Office Coordinator, I manage the organization’s parking program. My responsibilities include processing requests for our D.C. office new parkers and ordering their parking credentials from Colonial Parking. I notify our Payroll Section bi-weekly of any changes for both the district and regional offices regarding any parker additions or deletions; changes in parker payroll parking deduction amounts and other changes. I prepare yearly purchase orders to request funding for our PCAOB parking vendors for our Procurement and Budget team, and I review and approve monthly parking vendor invoices for the D.C. and Regional Offices for our Accounts Payable staff. I drafted the PCAOB’s System Parking Procedures Document and am responsible for updating the document as necessary. Finally, I have experience in Concur because I used to assist our Finance Department in reviewing and reconciling travel expense statements for the organization’s employees.
