As a union mason, I travel the country from project to project manning and/or managing various construction sites. I specialize in refractory brick, tile, foundation, and restoration work. Along with my security background, I often manage projects in power generation plants, nuclear plants, and military installations.

As site foreman l supervise all three modules at the Santee Cooper Cross Power Generation Station, subordinate to the project manager. I act as the point of contact between employees, sub-contractors, project manager, and plant supervisors. Daily tasks generally include time management, material handling, material ordering, material billing, ensuring compliance with safety procedures, general quality control, employee morale and motivation for overall project completion.

As the working tile setter foreman at Vogtle Nuclear Power Facility’s new construction reactors 3 & 4, located in Waynesboro, GA, I was responsible for the layout, preparation, and installation of tile in both reactors 3 & 4 along with the containment systems of said reactors. Communication of work orders to subcontractors. My daily job details included safety briefings, daily scope of work meetings between employees and various subcontractors, regular inspections of completed work, and accountability for tools and equipment regularly monitored by the nuclear regulatory commission.

The general restoration/renovation of all masonry units brick, block, stone, tile, concrete, motor, and mastic. Supervision of all employees and subcontractors included on various projects, daily safety briefs, daily progress reports, billing/vouchers, coordination with project managers on new bids, T&M, and project change orders.
