Roux-en-y gastric bypass.

surgeries like,Excision of breast lump (fibroadeoma), Simple Mastectomy, Modified Radical Mastectomy,and Microdochectomy.

As a Rotational Resident in Urology I was able to

perform pre and post op management of the patients,and making Operative list effectively on time.I was able to perfrom common urology procedure under supervision 7

like supra pubic catheterization, supra pubic cystostomy, ESWL,Percutaneous nephrostomy and assisted PCNL,

Radical prostatectomy and Radical Nephrectomy.

As a Rotational Resident in Orthopedics and Trauma I was capable of managing orthopedic trauma patients that include closed fractures,open fractures,dislocation of limbs along with diagnosing and management of

compartment syndrome.

Able to perform close reduction, fasciotomy of limbs, making and removal of pop cast,applying skeletal and skin traction and assisting open reduction and internal fixation of bones.

As a Rotational in plastic surgery, I was capable of preparing patients for elective list on next day doing all the necessary pre operative work and taking care of patient post operatively.

I was able to deal with burn emergency under

supervision and observing and assisting classical cases like hypospadias repair, free tissue transfer, flap coverage and release of contractures.

As a Rotational in Neurosurgery, I was capable of

preparing patients for elective list on next day doing all the necessary pre operative work and taking care of patient post operatively.

I was able to deal with neuro surgical emergency under supervision, observing and assisting classical cases like evacuation of extra dural and sub dural hematoma via burr hole and craniotomy.Observing and assisting

elective neurosurgical cases like brain tumor and spinal surgeries.

ACTIVITIES

Nominated as Trainee registrar of General surgery

department of Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar, I was assigned with additional duty of administrative work of surgical ward, that includes making audit monthly, morbidity and mortality meeting, arranging seminars and CPC.

I was tasked to provide academic environment for

residents and interns. Making sure to see out patients in clinic with Primary Consultant, all in-patients admitted from clinic and emergency,and discussing plan with admitting consultant.
