Assessment of Quality Management System with respect to project specifications. Review of supplier’s documentation relating to fabrication, inspection and testing. Liaise with a team of welding coating painting anodes sacrificial insulation inspectors and supervisors to resolve material issues Provide technical inputs to procurement and engineering groups in securing quality materials and equipment. Assist during Internal and External Quality Audit according to ISO 9000 Developing Welding Work Method Statement and Inspection Procedure Implementation of Project Quality Plan
Approval of test packs dossiers and witness pressure test Develop the WPSs and Witness PQRs.
Prepare consumable matrix from data sheets according to project specification. Conduct welders’ performance qualification test (WPQT). Develop PWHT procedures and approve recording charts. Coordinate with third party inspection and testing agencies. Ensure that welding machines and inspection tools are calibrated Reception and Checking of materials to be used prior fabrication. Control and monitoring of welding and painting consumables. Conduct toolbox talk on safety requirement before and during welding activities Perform dimensional and visual inspections.
