Teaching Experience:

As a postgraduate I have a taken clinical classes for undergraduates both medical and dental at Bangalore medical college and research institute. Have taught principles of ATLS, ACLS, BLS, as a part of emergency care. Have conducted mock drills for emergencies like fire, Earthquakes and management of victims in such scenarios.

WORK EXPERIENCE

1.As a Post graduate assisted cases of poly trauma and resuscitation, performed CRIF and interlocking mailing of long bone fractures like tibia, femur, performed open reduction and plating of fractures of bones of the forearm, Assisted Hemi replacements of Hip, Cemented and Un cemented Total Hip replacements, managed cases of poly trauma according to principles of Damage control orthopaedics, assisted open reduction and fixation of acetabular fractures, assisted in management of pelvic fractures. Performed amputations on unsalvageable limbs.

2.I’ve worked as Senior Resident in the department of emergency medicine JSS Hospital for a year in order to acquaint myself with the lifesaving skills in the times of untoward emergencies. 2016 - 2017

3.I’ve worked as Senior Resident in the department of Orthopaedics and Trauma at Sri Siddhartha Medical College, Tumkur, INDIA. From Aug 2017 to October 2018

4.I completed my fellowship in joint replacements under renowned surgeon Dr. Shekhar Agarwal at Delhi Institute of Trauma and Orthopaedics from November 2018 to May 2018. Assisted more than 800 primary total knee replacements. About 25 revision knee arthroplasties, 5 Re-revision total hip replacement, about 40 arthroscopy procedures for the knee.

Have performed about 50 primary total knee replacements independently. About 25 hemiarthroplasty of hip and 10 total hip replacements. I havebeen working as a senior specialist at Aster RV Bangalore from June 3 3 2019 to August 2019.

From Aug 19-2020 to date - I’m working as Assistant Professor and In-charge Head of the dept of Orthopaedics at Dr Chandramma Dayananda Sagar institute of Medical education and Research, Kanakapura Road. Have performed complex surgeries at the institute with good outcomes which includes a case of Two stage primary total hip replacement for a failed Proximal femoral fixation and ipsilateral stiff knee secondary to conservatively managed patellar fracture.
