Responsibilities were to monitor, maintain, repair, and collect data from RO (Reverse Osmosis) water filtration units at various chemical refineries. This also included membrane changes, cartridge exchanges, setup/startup of new units and samplings of water for the customer. Troubleshot tanks, pumps, compressors, variable frequency drives, automated valves, and analytical instrumentation which interfaced to a PLC based control system with HMI control panels. When troubleshooting proved unsuccessful, contacted internal help desk for further guidance and assistance. Also identified, implemented and documented any system modifications and reported such back to supervisor on project.
Played an integral role on the service team by focusing on service of systems and cultivated positive relationships with the customers as well as demonstrating my ability to effectively manage time with minimal direction in a self-directed and goal-oriented work environment while making sound technical decisions, and maintaining the company’s best interests.
