The following is a list of skills from my most recent career experience and those predated for the last 21 years.
From 7/2/2005 to 3/12022 at Las Cruces Moving and Storage, Inc. 1-800-***-****. Day to Day operations, d.o.t and o.s.h.a compliance. Highway use filing and payments of quarterly, and anual tax of highway and fuel mileage in NM, and I.F.T.A reporting and payments. Booking of c.o.d and military moves. Dispatch in o.t.r and local. Human resources record keeping. Sales in absence of sales associate and direct sales with outside contractors/booker's of military and G.S.A shipments. Daily maintenance and inspection of vehicles. Billing of government storage, as well as warehouse locations system. Forklift operator in absence of warehouse foreman. Writing and implementing company policy. Wrote employee manual, and conducted background checks, pre-employment, random, and reasonable suspicion drug testing. Writing job paperwork through data entry and maintaining those customer files. Teaching/Training of new hires and motivation of employees from new hire to veteran employees. Negotiating monetary compensation from owner operators to outside contacts, and direct military contact. My position was fulfilling and challenging at times, but always task and team oriented until all tasks were completed usually above and beyond expectations. Unfortunately the business is in process of sale causing my current unemployment situation. I always look forward to learning, teaching, and collaboration with a team. I am task oriented and work best with others like minded in the business sense. 2/03/2001 to 5/12/2005
General Manager
DaVinci Ristorante
Springfield, VA.
Worked in concert with Owners, Executive Chef, and our floor Managers. Achievement of higher profit in balance of costs. Scheduled entire staff, implemented new dining experiences from special wine dinners, catering, private parties, and live entertainment. Interacted with approximately 90% of customers from our diners to lounge guests. I was also charged with our advertising through outside sources as well as customer feedback and utilizing such for building a greater demographic. I resigned due to ownership refusing to pay taxes which caused severe unrepairable damages to the restaurant and staff. I moved shortly after from the the Washington DC area to Las Cruces to be closer to family and explore a change in career opportunities. References upon request.
