Objective:

Summary:

Over 15 years’ of experience as QC and NDT Inspector &Coordinator in the field of Quality Control and Inspection for onshore and offshore construction projects, production plants, refinery piping, storage tanks and cross country pipeline projects.

Conversant with the codes and standards like ASME Sec V, Sec VIII, Sec IX, B31.3, API 1104 & API 650.Good practical knowledge in interpretation of drawings.

Work Experience:

1) Period : August 2005 – Jan-2012

Position : QC/NDT Inspector

Duties and responsibilities:

Preparation of NDT requests in coordination with respective QA/QC Inspectors and Supervisors

Requested Non- Destructive Test requirements on weld joints from the daily production outputs. Witnessed NDT execution, Verified all the requested joints corresponding with weld map are against the actual joints on the pipe. Keep records of non-destructive testing results.

Liaises with QC engineers to clarify the requirements and criteria for inspection and test

Give proper direction and information to NDT Technicians to perform RT activities.

Prior to RT activities, responsibilities include request for Permits, scaffolds (especially for non – accessible joints locations), lights, and equipment and also arrange the same.

Proper supervision and inform people working in the vicinity, prior to the preparation of RT activity as part of safety procedures.

Interpretation and Evaluation of Radiographs in coordination with QC Inspectors.

Responsible for NDT inspection of ongoing fabrication activities and strictly implementing quality of works.

Performs inspection through Quality Plan, ITP, NDT plan and Client specifications

Conduct test, maintain inspection records for RT, MT, and PT whichever required on pressure vessels, heat exchangers, evaporators, desecrators, power piping, jackets for offshore platforms.

Interpretation and Evaluation of Radiographs

Maintain inspection records and reports for client evaluation.

2) Period Jan 2012– Mar-2014

-Review that NDT procedure are meeting the requirement of project specification & applicable code and standard.

-Planning the NDE Resources for the project areas assigned.

-Preparation and approval of inspection plan to the client/owner user.

-Carried out RT/RTFI/PMI/FN/HT/MPT/PT/UT thickness survey of / Pipe / Plates welds.

-Evaluation of test results as per procedure and acceptance standard specified by the client.

-Arrange and Coordination with third party Inspection with client like MEW.

3) Period Mar 2014– May 2017

Duties and responsibilities:

- Responsible to organize in conjunction with construction all facilities required to conduct various NDT methods; monitor the progress of NDT, repair activities, etc. through the Talisman standardized printouts. Responsible to effectively communicate the NDT status, general welding performance and the NDT subcontractor's performance.

- Establishes field inspection and testing procedures for fabrication, welding and piping.

- Establishes and maintains fabrication and welding records.
