WORK EXPERIENCE

Worked as a Sales Associate for the Salvation Army Thrift Store. I accepted, sorted and priced donations. I also helped customers and processed sales transactions. I was trained in opening and closing the store.

Worked for the Hamilton Wentworth District School Board as an Educational Assistant for many years. In this role it is important to be flexible and personable. I worked in a team with many different teachers, community staff, and administrators, as well as the different characteristics of each student.

I worked part time as a front line worker (operations) for Value Village for 5 years. In this position I was a cashier, fitting room attendant and worked general recovery. I also worked in production, pricing and placing merchandise.

I worked at Subway for many years. In this position I was responsible for every aspect of the store. I opened and closed (key holder), did all the prep work, processed weekly orders, maintenance of the restaurant as well as serving customers.

Volunteered for two years as a cashier at the Missions Thrift Store.

Worked as retail store floor coordinator for Missions Thrift Store. In this position I trained all volunteers and was responsible for all cash transactions. Reconciliation of cashes. Kept the floor looking nice and created displays.
