RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performing setting and adjustment in compaction press in line with process layout and ensure all quality parameters are met.

Performing adapter setting, punch and core piece alignment and verification of tool setting in line with process layout for fill height and other alignments are verified.

Performing first off approval / patrol inspection at in-process stage as per control plan / SOP by using various measuring instruments such as Vernier caliper, Micrometer, Dial comparators, Height gauge, Density weighing scale, Hardness tester etc…,

Maintaining the records of Production log, First off approval, Check sheets, Data history sheet (DHS), Process monitoring chart (PMC) at intervals as mentioned in SOP (Standard Operating Procedure).

Monitor visual related quality issues such as dent, damages, chip off, Crack etc.., as per SOP and certify the parts as per visual standards.

Daily maintenance of gauges & instruments and coordinating calibration activities with standards room for instruments and gauges used at line.

Performing JH activities in machine as per JH plan issued by Maintenance department.

Participating in DRM meeting conducted supervisor for reviewing daily production, quality, Break down, Safety etc..,

Maintaining 5S standards at work place which are designated in machine/work area & ensuring safety.

1 year worked in In-process quality – Worked in in-process inspection, 100% inspection at verification stations, operating multi gauges, patrol inspection at production line. Instruments used : Vernier caliper, Height gauge, Surface analyzer, Profile projector etc…,
