Support for the Students
Ensuring pupils are able to use the equipment and materials provided for learning
Developing appropriate resources and plan activities to support pupils
Encourage and provide support to pupils with special needs, challenging behaviours and also ensure the pupils can integrate as fully as possible in the activities generally undertaken by other children in the class and make progress
Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all student

Support for the Teacher
Assist with the planning of learning activities.

Provide detailed and regular feedback to teachers on student achievement, progress, problems etc.
Create and maintain a purposeful, structured and supportive environment, in accordance with lesson plans and assist with the display of student’s work.
Administer routine test, help invigilate exams and undertake routine marking of students’ work.
Assist in the writing of communication and sensory profiles of students as applicable and maintain programmes set by the educationist.
