MODA Midstream/Enbridge Inc: Distributed Control System (DCS) Operator III: November 2019 - March 2022
● Single Handedly monitor, control, regulate and safely operate the inbound flow of five West Texas crude pipelines to terminal tankage.
● Simultaneously maintaining control of three outbound vessel loading docks with the capacity to move 160,000 barrels per hour (bph)
● Tank switches between Light and Intermediate crude oil, due to Tank topping procedures, customer request, scheduling conflicts and most importantly, the safe and efficient movement of crude oil within and outside our fences.
● Collaborate with internal scheduling department, positional counterparts, customers, and third part inspectors to ensure proper notices are given and received for the start of and completion of each inbound and outbound parcel.
● Coordinate with Environmental, Safety, and Health departments to ensure compliance with facility and USCG regulation.
● Coordinate with outside operators and maintenance technicians to ensure proper energy isolation is achieved and maintenance activities can begin. Monitor such activities until completion and return to normal status.
● Maintain detailed logs of every instance within your shift to note and pass proper, concise information on to your relief.

● Complete Energy Isolation Plans to include LO/TO and ensure compliance with all site and company safety procedures.
● Perform D.O.T. Valve Maintenance and Inspection to include changing packing sets.
