PhD RESEARCH PROJECT

I am working on developing and experimentally validating quantitative mathematical models for predicting the electrical characteristics of flexible electronic devices with arbitrary geometry. My work lies at the intersection of mathematics, device physics, computational electromagnetics and materials science.

Solution deposition with spin coating: Proficient in fabricating thin film samples using a spin coater.

Time Resolved Microwave Conductivity: Routinely used custom made TRMC setup for contactless characterization to extract material mobility.

SMS Spam Detection using Logistic Regression

Done under supervision of Dr.Cory Simon for Introduction to Data Science (CHE599) course.

Trained a Logistic Regression machine learning model to classify SMS as spam or not.

Used Bag of Words and Latent Dirichlet Allocation NLP approaches for featurizing text.

Coded in Julia.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Graduate Teaching Assistant for Senior Design at OSU (2019-20)

Over the course of a year, mentored and guided over 10 student groups on their senior design projects, said projects covering an eclectic spectrum, ranging from portable solar panels to underwater robotics.

Ran the Internet of Things Communities of Practice, a student community dedicated to foster and inculcate interest in the field of IoT.
